I read this book a few weeks ago for the second time. What struck me this time is how honest Radner is about her neuroses and dependence on the attention of others -- until she gets sick. This is a story of Radner finding herself after the diagnosis of cancer. She blossoms into a new woman with the help of her husband, her cute dog, and a group of fellow cancer survivors. It's a raw story that motivates one to live now.
